The salads arrived and were way overdressed, to the point of being soggy. The main course was a filet medallions duo and chateau mashed potatoes. One being an order of three 4 ounce filet medallions--one being topped with crumbled feta cheese; another with Maryland blue crab lightly smothered in a lobster sauce; and the third being topped with a truffle butter sauce. I had the 8oz filet mignon and lobster tail with shaved Brussels sprouts. Downside was we ordered asparagus, and they never came, nor did the waiter come to check. We were stuffed and could not tackle dessert. There was a long line of people waiting to check in and get a table, and the line took forever. This is our second time at this place, first time July of 2016 was amazing but it had just opened. I would consider ordering this as my main if there is a large portion for an entree. The Del Frisco's restaurants are popular among professionals, such as Wall Street traders, investors and bankers in New York City, because of their excellent menu, services and facilities. If you go save room. But my absolute favorite of the night was their butter cake!!!! However getting to the restaurant without using the valet was quite a hassle using the underground parking lot. Medium rare filet medallions were extra well done. Worth it for a special occasion.
